FAQ

Q: How much hair do I need for a full sew-in?
A: For lengths 10 – 18” you will need two packs of hair. For Lengths 18” – 24” you will need three packs of hair. For lengths 24” – 30” you will need four to five packs of hair depending on how full and think you want your hair. The longer the length of hair, the shorter the width of the track end to end, this means for longer hair you will need more hair for more coverage for more volume and fullness. If you are unsure of how much to get always go for an extra pack because it's better to have a little extra rather than not enough during your hair appointment. And whatever you don't use you can save for your next install or a touch up. Also keep in mind that our curly hair is naturally much more full than straight or wavy hair. This means you may not need as much hair for a full look.

Q: How do I take care of my Clip-in hair?
A: Please see our Clip-in Hair Care page (click here) for our in-depth description of how to care for your sew-in extensions so that they will last for a very long time.
Q: How often should I was my Clip-ins?
A: Clip-in hair extensions (all hair extensions) should not be washed often. They should only be washed when they absolutely need it (a lot of product is in the clip-ins). Hair extensions are not attached to your scalp so they do not get your natural oils that naturally condition and moisturize the hair. So it is important not to wash too often. And when you do wash it you must ALWAYS use conditioner. And every few months deep condition your clip-ins.
Q: The clips in the Clip-ins are not working?
A: If the clips are not clipping onto your hair it is because the clips were not properly bent. Bend the clips slightly so that they make more of a U shape so that both ends are more up. Make sure that you do not bend them all the way into a U shape. This should fix the problem.
Q: The clips in the Clip-ins are starting to fall off?
A: The clips are only sewn into the weft of hair so after several uses (just like buttons on a shirt) the thread starts to wear and become loose. To fix this you will have to re-sew the clips onto the hair. It is best to sew it as soon as they feel loose. Do not wait until they fall off. You can use any type of thread just make sure that the color of it matches the hair.
